“Bought to discourage pigeons, which it does . But have to take seeds and cover inside before dark , as hedgehogs are able to squeeze through the bars to get to any seeds left . Seeds are not good for hedgehogs, and worried one may get stuck ! Please be aware”

“Keeps the starlings and jackdaws from scoffing everything. Much larger than I was anticipating- I have two compact tray feeders in there with room fore now. Little birds haven’t discovered it yet but the slugs are feasting overnight.”

“Robins, Dunnocks and Blackbirds started feeding as soon as the cage was in place, and all without being hassled by the local Wood Pigeons! Great, just what I wanted. Would definitely recommend.”

“Purchased specifically to keep the greedy pigeons from taking the majority share of the food i put out. 1st day saw a multitude of smaller birds take advantage of the extra protection.”

“We had a problem with over-feeding pigeons, but the ground feeder cage has enabled our garden birds (Robins, Sparrows, Dunnocks and Black Birds) to feed without being harassed by the pigeons. The pigeons now eat what is dropped outside of the cage. A win- win for all! Thank you”

“I would have given five stars as it is really nice and well made. However all of my garden squirrels can get in easily (and they are not small squirrels as I have already set up a squirrel feeder for them). My main aim was to deter the large flock of feral pigeons I have visiting and it has worked well on that score, as long as the food is placed in the middle so they can't crane their necks in. I chose the large mesh as I wanted the blackbirds and starlings to be able to get in. The blackbirds and small birds started using it on the first day I set it up so that's good.”
