“First time use. Not impressed. Lots of entrances closed off. People driving all over the place hunting a place. I had a blue badge and couldn't find any spaces so had to park well away. There are not enough coaches. Had to wait 45 mins for return coach as so many people in queue. People smoking in queue. Announces which is next stop then drives past with driver shouting you should have pressed stop button, so loads of us had to walk back to previous stop. Truly a horrendous experience at end of trip. Never again”
“My wife is disabled and has a blue badge, we have never been able to park in a disabled space and have to catch the bus with everyone else which is difficult! There is very little information about disabled parking and what is offered we really have to search for, easier access to info and parking would make life a lot easier!”
“We didn't register the car number plate, so had to explain using the help/call button we had a booking. It worked, but APH booking/stanstead could have made that easier by allowing the number plate to be entered after the booking could not be modified (arguably giving the number plate is giving missing info, not modifying the booking).
Quite a long journey to/from the car park to the airport, tiring when you have just finished travelling.
The return journey is likely to be busy and the bus stops are in an unexpected order (the bus does not call at A, then B, then C...). The bus driver we had on a busy night was brilliant. He was really calm, clear, ensured people were on the right bus and were aware of which stops were coming up.”
