“My car broke down on my way to collect my daughter to take us both to the airport. As we were unable to continue the journey in my car, we contacted APH to see if we could transfer the booking to my daughter's car but was advised that this was not allowed. This resulted in us having to find and pay for additional to and from transport to the airport. We also asked if it would be possible for my son-in-law to bring my car to the parking the next day once it was repaired so that the booking could still be used and we would have our transport home. We were advised that unless the car on the booking arrives on the arrival date the booking becomes invalid.
Firstly, as I'd already paid for the booking for one car, I cannot see any reason why the booking could not be transferred to my daughter's car. I would have even been happy to pay a small admin fee for this to happen but it just wasn't an option. Secondly, to not be able to use the remainder of my booking from the following say seems totally unfair. I had paid for that parking space for the duration of my trip and feel that I should have still been entitled to use it given the circumstances.
The experience left me nearly missing my flight, out of pocket and inconveniencing other family members. I will not be using this provider again.”
