“Well sign posted and clear instructions on how to get there. Didn’t have to wait to long for a bus which dropped you close to the terminal doors.
This is not a manned service so you don’t leave your keys with the office just simply drop your car off in a large car park and take a photo of which area you parked in so you can remember when you get back!”
“I was happy that we were able to park at the airport and come back to drive our own car home. However, the JetParks service at Stansted airport was not efficient at all, especially for a family of 5 with small children. Parts of the carpark were closed and we were not notified of this before we came. When we unpacked the car and began to walk to a bus stop, most of them were closed. The buses drove straight past us and wouldn’t stop even though they saw we had luggage and a double buggy. We had to walk to the other side of the carpark to find a working bus stop. The help buttons on the bus stops were not working for us to call for support. Eventually when the bus came at one stop that was opened, it was overloaded with angry customers for the same reasons as ours.
Coming back home we had to wait at a bus stop for the JetParks bus. Even though it says “every 15minutes” the bus came after half an hour. It was very small and everyone squeezed into to make sure they get a space as they didn’t want to wait even longer for the next one.
Overall the service does what you want - you park your car, get a bus and go to the airport. You come back, get a bus back to your car and drive home. So if you don’t mind not being able to get through to anyone for help and support, waiting around and being squashed onto a small bus then it’s a service for you. If you want something a little better then maybe look for long stay or mid stay parking at Stansted as they seemed a little more efficient compared to this.”
