JetParks Stansted Reviews

4.5 Rating 1,011 Reviews
Wasn't aware until I arrived at site that the park was closed, so needed to use stansted's long stay. Luckily, very close, but was worried about being charged on exit. Tried to make enquiry about amending booking and website error plus phone lines unresponsive (probably because site shut!!!!!!). However, the airport's alternative long stay service was very good with the advantage that the bus drops off there first.

Well signposted and easy to find from motorway. The only thing we missed was the huge sign as you drive into the site which indicates the car park you are meant to park in. We stood at a bus stop for a good 10mins before one kind driver stopped to tell us we wouldn't be picked up from that particular bus stop and we needed to go to the correct car park. At least 5 buses had passed us before this one stopped. So just be mindful of that. Transfer is easy both ways and well signposted when you leave the airport on where to wait.

Jet parks is merely a sub-part of the long-stay car park, equally convenient but cheaper.

At no point was it made clear that parking is allocated to specific zones. We parked near S2 and went to the (yellow) S2 bus stop. The electronic display did not indicate when the next bus would arrive. Three busses passed us. We pressed the help button numerous times but no one answered. The fourth bus finally slowed down and pointed across the car park without further help. We walked to another bus stop and continued waiting. Again, the electronic information board did not offer any information and the help button was out of order. A mobile telephone support number was on a cellotaped A4 sheet of paper. A bus finally came, stopped and the driver told us we are at the wrong stop. Baring in mind, all this while I had my two year old, six year old and wife with me. I literally had to beg the driver to let us on as we were cold, tired and the six year old had to go to the toilet. The bus driver explained to us that upon entering the car park, there is a big display indicating which zone to park in. Nowhere during my booking process was that made clear, nor is it clear from the sign that this is mandatory for an array of reasons. No signs were at any of the bus stops to alert travellers that only specific bus stops are operational at any specific day. If the display or help line would have at least worked… We have witnessed travellers experiencing the same problems; asked to come off the bus when they tried to get on, people being left standing at other stops, etc. It is quite obviously a reoccurring problem, yet nothing is done about it. The drivers’ attitude does not help either. They assume everyone is supposed to be familiar with the system. The whole system is flawed and I would therefore never recommend Jet Park to anyone.

Would have been all good apart from arriving massive queue to get in at 04:00 in the morning. And almost missed our plane because of it. Everything else was all good

I had a problem on my return from holiday insofar that my car keys had been stolen and departure from the car park was delayed for 90 mins., whilst another set was brought by my son in law. I couldn’t inform Jet parks as neither phoning them or using the intercom in the bus stop T and V worked, the automatic didn’t work but the operator opened them remotely so all was well

On the way to car park, we spent 23 minutes at the barriers, as something was wrong with them. We risked missing out flight and that was very stressful. On return, the queue at the bust stop was enormous, and no bus arrived for 25-30 minutes. The price was good, but the whole experience was rather stressful.
