“We arrived at APH Stansted at 3am . It was still dark and we found the carpark difficult to find as there was very little lighting. After driving over the gravel ground we just parked the car in a space as there was no signage to tell you where to park. I walked over to the "office " (a portacabin) where I was greeted by a polite gentleman. He explained to just leave the car where it was. My husband then had to carry our two suitcases, as you couldn't wheel them across the gravel. Broken wheels would not have been a good start to our holiday. We were then transferred to the airport in a mini bus, have to say this didn't take long. Our return transfer was quick & car was waiting for us. Once again my husband had to carry the suitcases because of all the gravel.
Can I suggest that APH Stansted invest in substantial lighting & a better ground quality.
I'm very disappointed with APH as I have always used them when travelling from Gatwick Airport where everything is of a much better standard.”
“Convenient parking for Stansted Airport. Polite, helpful staff. Quick easy transfers, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for transfer bus either way. Only issue is uneven loose stone surface in car park, not good for older people and those with even minor mobility issues. Makes the car park look cheap, unprofessional and temporary. APH parking at Gatwick is more the standard customers expect, especially as paying a similar price for parking. Would be 5 star at Stansted if it was brought up to a good standard.”
“The reception area and entrance could be made a lot more professional and more greeting than just looking like a builders car park..
More lighting and seating”
