“Our plane was delayed 3 hours and I was very concerned I’d be charged extra but due to the 5 hour allowance applied everything was fine
It’s a great car park near the airport and we stay every time on the same car park.”
“Huge open air car park within 10 minutes walk of airport terminal. The main challenge is finding a space when you arrive. There’ll definitely be some but it can a little time to track them down.”
“Prebooked parking, easy to find. Busy but parking spaces available. Clear signs to the terminal. I would say about a ten minute walk depending on where you park in the car park.
Car fine when we returned. Exited no issues.”
“Fine if you can actually park in the section near the airport. I had to park at the bottom end of the zone & felt like I walked from Bishop’s Stortford as I was so far from the airport. Not acceptable for the cost of parking.”
“Went to exit the barrier and we couldn't get out. £67 charge. Had to wait to speak with someone through the intercom before being allowed to exit. I thought that's the whole point of putting you car registration number into the system so it's all done electronically? Held the queue up behind us.”
“This car park is right at the back of the airport but only a 15min walk from terminal. Easy to just enter, park find a space and go. Easy to exit, with prebooked uses number plate recognition. Covered walkway for part of the way but really needs tarmacing over as very rough for wheeled cases. Still expensive though! paid nearly £100 for 5 days.”
