“Not run by the company we booked with (APS) but sub contracted to Newcastle Airport. The car park is huge and was packed full. There was no indication of where spaces were available. No staff on hand to assist. We spend 20 minuites driving up and down looking for a space. Some rows were dead ends meaning we had to perform three point turns to get back out. The marking of spaces on the floor was poor and many cars were parked incorrectly leaving narrow spaces between them - not wide enough for a car. Having exhausted all hard standing areas, we arrived at section "L" a rough rocky overflow area which was also very busy. This was the only place we could park. This is not the high level of service we are used to from APS. We were desperately disappointed and not happy that we were left with no choice but to leave the car in thus area. There were no staff around which was not helpful and we had further concerns about the security of the site.”
“Very user friendly, booked on line, the only problem we couldn't find our car on our return. The staff were very helpful and located it on the cameras.
Would use the car park again.”
“Two issues - 1) taken to an area miles away from the terminal and when walking through the car park, loads of spaces closer. 2) no damn buses and the phone at the place I parked (miles away from the terminal) had had it's phone ripped out. Entirely unsuitable for snyone with mobility issues or any luggage”
“Pretty much good value for money and you know your car will be where you left it. Transfer bus runs regularly but many of the courtesy phones to call for the bus do not work or no one answers when they do work, so you might have to just wait it out. A lot of the car parks have been tarmacked but there is still quite a lot that are gravelly. Be warned at busy times finding a space is like playing hide and seek and finding disabled bays even trickier!”
