“Slick system, basically a pre paid car park for the airport. Press a button on arrival and you get a card. On leaving you return the card and away you go. Bus drivers were very friendly and polite especially when tired after a long day travelling. Easy enough to find spaces.”
“It’s perfect you just drop your car off and straight into the airport . And in return it’s so stress free and easy enough to walk , no bus required even though there are courtesy buses on hand”
“Good - the car park is big is & within walking distance of the terminal. There are free buses as well.
Bad - the signs, the ones we could actually find, are useless, even during daylight but especially when it's dark. Bigger, clearer signs are needed, & more of them. We got back from our holiday at 2am so it was dark & it was raining heavily. We spent about 20 minutes looking for our car. We ended up in the short stay car park & couldn't find the way out! When we eventually got out we had to walk on the road & walk under the in/out barriers! Not ideal, especially in the dark, when cars are going in & out.
This is the 3rd time we've flown from Newcastle & the car park has put us off flying from there again.”
