“Very easy to park the car and drop the keys off in the office on site! A very short walk to the terminal.
However the instructions provided by APH for key collection on return to the UK were incorrect!
They stated to collect keys from the desk in arrivals opposite Greggs!! I spent a while wandering around looking for the desk and in the end I asked at the information kiosk!
Those instructions actually changed about 3 years ago!!! The keys are now collected from the lock boxes at the same office where they were deposited!
The car was parked a fair way from the office so luckily it wasn’t raining!”
“The outward journey from terminal 1 was fine. But the lack of signs from the arrival lounge to collection point is none existant. Over whole the Meet and Greet signs along the road to there location at all terminals l find very poor and confusing especially in the dark.”
“Easy to find on arrival to the airport and staff extremely helpful and friendly. I think you would benefit from having directional signs inside the airport as we couldn't find any when returning to Termial 1”
“Convenient for T1. Very friendly staff hovering to help. Especially at return a personal guide on the route out as all road markings obscured by newly fallen snow. Perfect.”
“I normally rate meet and greet as very good but on this occasion cannot. We arrived back in Manchester to be greeted by snow and freezing conditions. None of the pathways had been gritted so gaining access to our car proved very hazardous. The car must have been parked in meet and greet for quite awhile as it took 30 minutes to de-ice and remove all the snow. This is not the service I would normally expect and I am sure more could have been done to improve the safety of the customer.”
“First time I had used the Meet and Greet at Manchester Airport and was pleasantly suprised. The drop off went fine once I realised how the terminals worked, although there were helpful staff even at three oclock in the morning. On our return, despite the fact I couldn't find my parking slip.. my fault... the staff located my keys and the car was just across the car park, only made a little hazardous by the overnight snow that had delayed our arrival. Well done. I would use the service again, if I can ever be tempted to travel again.”
“Vehicle is parked in a congested non shed parking putting it on risk for damage from weather and unforeseen circumstances, on collection for your vehicle there is no directions for the zones of your parked car, cars are parked in such a way that they make sure iether the exit sign gets hidden or it is blocked so they can make sure ur driving skills are at its best before leaving the lot.
When went to collect in a bad weather after the tiring journey of more than 15 hours couldn’t find a single person to provide directions as the vehicle was parked on the last corner of parking lot not realising that some people left their jackets and coats in the boot of their vehicle while going on holidays.
Staff at the desk and in parking lot has never learned anything about the customer service as even before listening your plea they are trying to get u out of the door as it is not their job for providing directions and someone who is in parking lot is the responsible for providing you the answer.
Unfortunately the only nearest parking available at the terminal is using its monopoly to con customers whereas meet and greet parking service at T2 is way a different experience.”
