“Due to the timing of our flights it was not worthwhile for us to stay at the hotel especially as we were required to pay an additional £13.00 parking fee. We went straight to the APH car park”
“Good value. Reception staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was a real bonus and efficiently run.
The only wrinkle was a sports team of young boys (8-12 years?) with 3 adults who were eating pizza on the 2nd floor and chattering loudly while we were trying to sleep before our early morning flight. What on earth were they doing there at that time? This needs sorting please.”
“I stupidly made a mistake on booking my stay and the team were extremely helpful in sorting out my mistake, especially Holly on the reception who went above and beyond to help me, all friendly and accommodating.”
“We have stayed here many times before our flights and have never had any issues. However for this stay our room was situated next door and opposite to a group of young lads who thought it was acceptable to bang loudly on each others room doors in the middle of the night and again early morning.
They were noisy and showed no regards that there may be other guests requiring sleep before early flights. They played loud music with their doors open at 4.30 am and were knocking very loudly on each others doors and talking very loudly.
Mabey they hotel could in the future place groups of your boys away from other guests?”
“Beds very uncomfortable and sofa bed dangerous for the children with the bracket protruding above the mattress which caught my daughter a few times. Mattresses no support and springs digging in. Walls absolutely filthy. Food all chargrilled taste and burnt pizza bottoms and bread buns. Have stayed here before and don’t remember it being like this. Positive was the breakfast to go on the morning and friendly staff on reception but for us the room was awful and not worth the money”
