“Could not fault the staff when we arrived on Thursday afternoon, from reception, bar staff to restaurant staff all very friendly and helpful with a smile on their faces but on the other hand, we were leaving at 4 am so was up early and had the grab and go breakfast again the guy on reception was polite and friendly and sorted for the breakfast to be set out before we left so while having a coffee in reception we witnessed some had a problem with the booking and a member of staff needed to be woken up from where ever she was and as I get her sleep had been broken but there was no need for the way she spoke to customer or whoever was on the end of the phone, she repeatedly told the customer she had been asleep and disturbed. If I had been the customer I would have left the hotel as the mixup was not their fault and i am sure at that time in the morning they also wanted their bed. Customer service training would not go a miss.
At the end of the day if you're at work you working if you're off duty you are off duty.
Apart from witnessing this i would defo revisit the hotel.”
“Very welcoming friendly staff, plenty of parking spaces. Warm room with lovely pillows and a one of the comfiest mattresses I’ve ever slept on.
Breakfast: lots of variety and well stocked. Very pleased with the whole hotel stay”
“Hotel and room very comfortable however due to breakfast lounge not open at usual time due to disruption we were unable to have any breakfast - although hotel did supply tea and coffee, there was little fruit and nothing else.”
“Extremely busy hotel but the receptionist who dealt with my wife and I on arrival could not have been more helpful. Car parking was fine, an additional £10.00 but we knew about this.
The room was fine, warm, clean and comfortable, making this a very convenient option for an early morning flight out of Manchester airport.
We made use of the complimentary early morning buffet breakfast as we had to leave before the full breakfast opened up, this option was very welcome and it saw us through to getting something a bit more substantial once we got through the airport security.

“Stayed here for one night (Nov 22) before our early flight the following morning. The first thing we did on arrival was to book in and pay the £10 parking charge. You can imagine our surprise, disappointed and disgust to be greeted y a letter from Parkingeye on our return home demanding £100 for unpaid parking. So everyone needs to be warned and made be aware of this before using this hostelrie”
