“The room we had was comfortable and clean. This part of the hotel we were very happy with. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We decided to eat in the restaurant for ease and in all honesty neither of us finished the burgers and chips ordered. It came out very quickly and I assume was cooked earlier and reheated. It was absolutely awful, looked unappetising and the chips were like cardboard. The cost for the 2 meals and 2 soft drinks was extortionate for what was served to us. Due to little of the meal being consumed we had to go to M and S afterwards to buy sandwiches which was an extra cost. That definitely ruined the first evening of our get away which was long awaited. If we stay in the hotel again we will not be using the restaurant.”
“We found Hampton by Hilton very good. The room was a good size and clean. I told the receptionist that I needed assistance for getting to the plane and she checked straight away that it was organised. They came in the morning at the arranged time. Well done and thank you.”
“Great hotel with very good rooms. It opens out, via a walkway tunnel straight into the North Terminal of Gatwick. Absolutely perfect for our outbound flight.
Didn't take advantage, but the breakfast buffet opened at 4am!
We would definitely use this hotel again.”
