“Signs show self-park or drop and go, but the booking paperwork doesn’t mention these indications. The wording need to be edited to match.
Entry/exit are easy, however:
- was told to go to a lane where there was no space available. I couldn’t reverse due to lack of space, with a car being me. Not practical!
- coming back at night, (after waiting for the shuttle in the cold, not a nice experience), it was pitch black. The ground to row G being uneven, I stumbled and fell. Had got a head injury, I could have lied on the tarmac unconscious for hours! Possibly run over as well!
I will give preference to the multi-storey car park any day for ease of use. This long-stay away car park was hopefully a one-off experience, a taxi is not much dearer and more user-friendly.”
“We used the Self Park for the first time last week and thought it was amazing and trouble-free. The only drawback might be if you don’t get a space close to where the bus stop is…. There may be a bit of a walk but I couldn’t see how big the car park actually is. We were lucky to get a space right next to the bus stop so we virtually fell into our car! Our experience was fabulous but I can’t speak to how it would be if you were parked further away.
It was 100% excellent for us though… so quick and easy.”
“Parking is fine but the little pebble stones when walking to the bus stop is annoying cos they get under the wheels of the suitcase as your pulling your case along, they should clear the road of these pebble stones.”
