“The bus service was very good, but the parking left a lot to be desired. It was easy and efficient to enter the car park with the system recognising our car registration and a marshall showed us where to park. The spaces were very small (possibility of door dents), the car park was full of deep, rain-filled pot holes and it was not easy to pull a suitcase over the boulders. The buses were frequent, with well located bus stops (not too far to walk to) and the drivers were very helpful and friendly. We could not see any toilets so we had to wait until the airport, which after a long car journey was not the best! All our emails said "APH" whereas the bus stop said "airparks" which was quite confusing. We missed a bus because of this when we came out of arrivals at the airport, as our instructions didn't say which bus bay to go to. In the early hours of the morning after a long day of travelling this felt quite stressful trying to locate the right bus stop, but the driver was very friendly and the bus was not overcrowded, so once we were on the bus it was all good and we got back to our car quite quickly. We would use this service again but not self-drive as the car park spaces are too tight. There was a small dent on our car door which we think was from other customers in the next parking space, but of course cannot prove this or be 100% sure, but we don't want to risk this happening in future. Self-drive would be considered if the spaces are bigger and if improvements were made to the car park as the buses are frequent and it's an easy ride to the airport.”
