“Easy to use but barrier didn’t lift automatically for me to leave. This may have been because my plane landed early and I allowed extra time when booking. The carpark had lots of huge puddles after heavy rain fortunately I dodged them but some people had to go through them to get to their cars.”
“The park is easy to find, there was an attendant telling people which row to park in and there was not a long wait for the bus either time. The only suggestion I would make is that the bus driver should announce which parks he was stopping at on the way back. It was thanks to other people on the bus that I got off at the right place. Also, there was someone who did NOT get off when he needed to, as he did not know.”
“Maybe I'm used to Gatwick being very good, and understanding the process of car drop and delivery.
But on arrival the instruction was just leave you can where you can find a space, and jump on the bus.
Now at 4am and pitch black and raining, there's not a lot of clarity or signage on where you may end up leaving your car. Or where you are in the car park and where the bus might actually depart from. So the return was not filling me with confidence when finding my car, it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.
The Bus did come after 20mins, but signage to where you get the bus on your return isn't visible or clear. I just think some things could be better, clearer and less chaotic. Guess work at 1am in the morning after a long flight could be avoided. I hope it get better and more organised as APH Gatwick has proved it can be done. Prices wise it was excellent so no complaints. Half the price of Luton Long stay, but there's a reason for that.”
