“The main thing I look for when booking car parking is the safety of my car and the price. Glasgow Airport got these things right. It was £82 for a fortnight's parking, and the car was in the same condition I had left it in when I got back.
A few things didn't quite work:
- The number-plate recognition wasn't functioning at the point of entry, so even though I had pre-paid I had to call an operator at the barrier to gain access.
- On return, though it was advertised that buses run every 10 minutes to the car park, we waited 25 minutes for one to arrive. This wasn't ideal at 3 am with tired children.
- As we tried to exit the car park, the machine did not recognise our card. There didn't seem to be a button to press to speak to an operator, so we sat there for 5 minutes doing nothing. Another car in the next lane seemed to be experiencing the same issue. Eventually the words "FREE PASSAGE" appeared on the screen and the barrier lifted.
So, good price and car safe, poor operating system and bus schedule. I will use again purely based on price.”
“Long stay parking and transfers worked well.
A special mention and thanks to the bus driver who found my wife's phone and the staff at NCP who very efficiently facilitated its return.”
“Very easy to find. Lots of spaces. Short wait for the bus to take us to the airport, and on arrival home the buses were waiting outside the airport for us. Drivers friendly too. Will definitely be using again.”
“Good bus service to and from car park to airport. Reasonable parking area but for the money they charge - nearly double last years rates - the car park could be better surfaced…”
