The only disappointment is the cost of charging my EV car. Over £1 pkw. This was added on arrival so there wasn’t any discount applied. Didn’t select at time of booking as I was sure I’d have enough to get home. Cold weather and EV’s don’t go.”
“Parking is handy and a decent price. We paid for the EV charge though and drove away with a 79% charge which meant we had to charge on the way home - a waste of money IMO. I feel very short changed with the charging fee as we expected a full charge!”
“I made several e-mails and a phonecall to APH gatwick to make certain that I did not have to book EV charge, only to be told at reception that I did have to pre-book EV. The pleasant receptionsist then checked availability and we were able to purchase a 30KW charge at a cost of £39.99. When we returned, we found that the charger had given us less than 50 miles capacity, nearly £1 a mile. Expensive and poor charge. Would not use again or recommend.”
