“Signage back to car park from Arrivals is very poor, which wasn't a great start. Then the ANPR to exit wasn't working. There is a call button on the panel but it's over to one side and not very prominent. On a cold wet night, there was a queue of people all having problems. A number of people turned round because they didn't see the call button, so replacement with something maybe just in a more obvious colour would save frustration and delays. Together with better signage. It's a long walk in the rain when you aren't sure where you are going.”
“Easy to find but not very well lit at far end where we had to park. Parking at East Midlands is a bit more expensive than at bigger airports but there is no waiting for buses or long walks.”
“On arrival after parking our car, we walked to the airport terminal, we found this a bit of a struggle with our luggage as we are both in our mid-seventies. On our return we decided to use the jet parks bus ,the driver asked us where we were going we said mid stay three car park he said we do not stop there but he said he would drop us off so we were very grateful to him. We don't understand this as the bus has to pass mid stay three car park on its route.”
“Easy entry, spaces found and location noted. On return in dark was well-lit and exiting at the gate was a breeze. Would have benefited from repainting the lines to stop people parking on exit roads and travelling the whole length of car park to get to exit barrier. Very happy with distance to airport and smooth operation. Still more pricey than I would like.”
