“Ticket from machine was not produced upon entry as was previously on instructions. This led to barrier not raising on return and having to call customer services while stuck at the barrier.”
“Quick and very easy! My instructions did say I would need a ticket at the barrier but on entry there wasn’t a ticket barrier I was abit worried if I would get stuck but it was fine with the camera reading the reg. Instructions just slightly unclear but would definitely park there again.”
“Easy access a bonus. Information with online booking needs amending. No ticket issued on entry, so anxious about what happens on return. On return number plate recognition didn't work but the person answering the help button was very efficient.”
“Quick and convenient for arrival and departure at the airport….bit annoyed the barrier didn’t automatically open on departure though. The machine wanted me to pay £165! I called for assistance and to be fair it was sorted fairly quickly, and we were on our way….but with no apology or explanation. Beware!”
“The postcode provided took us to Silver parking not the multi storey, creating worry we would be charged. The signage to the multistorey and within the multistorey is very poor. Lots of people were confused on which level they have parked and how to exit. It needs to be clearer, especially given many people have very late/early flights or have done a day's travelling already on their return.
The paperwork told us to take a ticket, but none was provided. We had to confirm this with a member of staff for fear of a fine. Out of date instructions!
The price of parking is ridiculously high. When we exited the car park, it told us we owed £370 for a week's parking, despite the fact we already paid. It took a long time for a response on the call button on the exit barrier, to resolve this. Lots of people were experiencing the same issue causing delays and frustration (horns blasting) from those in the queue.
This coupled with staff shortages for escorting from the plane and unloading luggage means we will actively avoid using Bristol Airport again the future.”
“Easy to access, staff were on site directing people at the barriers due to new updates. Found a space easily and nice easy access new walkway direct into the terminal. However on our return we struggled to locate the exit. You enter and exit on different levels but the exit signs are very poor, it kept sending us around in circles rather than down the ramps to the bottom. There were no signs stating you had to go to the ground floor to exit.”
