“Parking was straightforward and very close to departures, however, this is why you pay a premium.
After 14 days away, unfortunately, upon our return, we discovered that we had a flat battery, the lady that I spoke to on the car park customer helpline was very unhelpful, and just told me that I had to arrange my own recovery and put the phone down.
We then had a long wait for recovery to arrive (a van that would be able to access a multi-storey car park) right through rush hour.
Surely given the type of service offered, the thousands of cars in & out and the additional money charged for airport convenience, it is not unreasonable to expect some 'on site' facility/powerpack to be available to help your customers who have a battery issue?
Even if there was an additional charge for the service, or a helpful response from the helpline it would have been something. Honest review ... Disappointing.”
“I would really recommend using the on site parking at Birmingham Airport. I booked a parking and hotel package with APH for my holiday and using car park 1 was easy, no paper tickets for entry or exit, plus it was a really short walk to the hotel and terminal, excellent service.”
“Great location to both terminal and airport hotels. Easy pull up and enter via ANPR reading, same with the exit. Only issue we found was availability of spaces, you have to hunt about for one!”
“Our paperwork told us to pick up a ticket as you enter, no ticket was issued which is confusing.
Could do with better signage when exiting car park by foot.”
