Birmingham Airport Car Park 5 Reviews

4.4 Rating 1,493 Reviews
Easy to get in & out as it is close to the main road into the airport from the M42. Shortish walk to Departures, depends where you are able to park. There is a bus service, however, I have never used it. Seems infrequent. Bus shelters are small & can be 10 mins walk to Departures. If it's raining you might get pretty wet. Overall I rate this car park for it's closeness to the terminal without the need to wait for a bus. The spaces seem wider than in the multi storey car parks at the airport, which I have used & always fear for my doors! I have used it 5/6 times.

Both on arrival and departure a transfer bus was no where to be seen! We walked to the airport after waiting at least 30 minutes and upon our return we waited yet again! No bus came so we walked back to the car park in the pouring rain!!

Arrival was perfect, however on return it was not clearly sign posted where we need to go. The bus stops were lettered whereas the information provided on return had numbers of returning to 2,6 or 7 bus stops. They was no timings on when the next bus would be, and when the bus “car park 4 and 5” did arrive and we hopped on we asked the driver if we where on the correct one and showed him the details of confirmation and he said no. So we had to get off again, ask another driver, to which he said it was the correct bus and we had to wait in the cold and rain again for 20 mins for the bus to return to take us to the car. Also may I add there was a elderly couple with us that we met at the bus stop, and they struggled to get the suitcases on and the bus driver didn’t bother helping, when they pressed the button for their stop he continued to drive on and refused to take them back round. So at 11pm at night they had to get off at the wrong stop and walk to their car 2 stops away.

Easy access, ANPR recognised car and opened barrier. Drive into a space which was readily available. Waited for the bus for 5 mins and took me to the main terminal. On return caught the bus who took me back to car park 5, car parked securely, drove out barrier recognised car plate. Would use again
