“We couldn't find any disability parking or assistance contact point in car park 3. We drove to car park 2 and once again couldn't find a space in disability parking, however we did find the assistance phone and the airport staff came reasonably quickly. On return our flight was delayed by 22 hours and we had to pay a ridiculously high excess charge of £64, when we were told it was £64 we thought we hadn't her correctly and the employee laughed and said you can claim it back from the airline. We were not impressed.”
“Booked park 2 and 3,on arrival both parks were full,had to use park 5, on leaving couldn't leave car park as registration recognition didn't work, would be good if a better control of car park spaces be managed and not overbook and ensure other parks recognise your reg on leaving.”
“Easy to book, within easy short walk of the terminal. Well lit and felt safe and secure. However, the amount of building works going on around the terminal and carparks 2 & 3 mean that it is very difficult to navigate into the carpark, or walk to or from the terminal. In both cases the fixed street direction boards direct you down blocked roads and walkways whilst the building works are going on. Suggest that at least you put up some correct temporary direction boards.”
