So far so good, though the instructions could be a bit better. It took me ages to work out how to cancel alarms and had to resort to youtube! The actual device itself though is good.

This is very good for people with Early dementia or anyone who is forgetting to take their meds. You can set up to 6 different alarms daily. The machine will alarm and flash on set times. The inside tray rotates the tablets round to view. The alarm will stop when the dispenser is picked up and rotated to empty the tablets out into your hand. It will continue to Alarm until that is done. (this does ware the batteries out) I would say this is better for people with earlier stages dementia because I feel people with mid to later stages would easily sit and hum through the Alarm and fail to take their tablets and also tipping the tablets out could prove to be a bit tricky as they could accidentally drop them on the floor. This dispenser is great for my mum for now but if I were to buy again I would purchase the dispensers with the app that can be programmed to alert you when tablets have not been taken and touch sensitive rather than rotation to tip the tablets out. I Hope my review has been helpful. I do recommend this product

I can only leave her one set of tablets at a time, which meant two trips per day to her. This might seem a bit pricey but it is doing the job perfectly and worth the money. Within 24 hours she understood the alarm would go off at 9am and 6pm and she takes her tablets from the slot, all I do is call her just afterwards to make sure she’s done it. Peace of mind for me too for when I go on holiday for the week. I can load the machine up, and call her or ask a relative to check for me. Easy to set up, took 10 minutes to set the alarms, would definitely recommend

Just the thing I needed. My Mum has dementia and is on numerous tablets four times a day. She used to get get totally confused even with a blister pack as supplied by the pharmacist. The Alz Automatic Pill Dispenser has toyally resolved the issue. Easy to set up and simple enough to load with new medication. I would totally recommend this dispenser. Has solved a lot of bother and worries. Item was delivered the day after ordering. 10 out of 10

It so far works (4 days into its use), but the lack of clarity of the instruction manual and fiddly set up gave me little initial confidence in the product. Given that it is described as having radio controlled time, I have no idea why I had to set the time (to the hour and minute - there are no options for timezone as you might expect). It also seems hugely overpriced for a product that feels behind the times and unsophisticated. I was expecting a well-designed but very simple to use and failsafe product. Instead I received something that feels as though it was invented in the 1980s and is in much need of a redesign.

Very versatile device for most regimes. Really easy to set up and use. In this instance I might have preferred a device where the alarm could be deselected as it may be confusing/annoying for a dementia sufferer to have that going off for 30 minutes.

Does exactly what it's designed to do. It took a few days for my Mother, who has moderate dementia, to get used to the new way of receiving her daily tablets, but she loves it now. If I could wish for an improvement, it would be a louder alarm for those with diminished hearing.

Clear instructions for setting up. Not very loud alarm, may not be heard if not in the same room although it continues for 30 minutes if not tipped up. 92 year old relative managing to use.
