“My mum took to this immediately. She was chatting away to the baby and holding it as if it was real. Anything that gives her a moment's happiness is worth it for me. I'm not sure it will help with her sundowning as she's too 'on the move' by then but it is certainly therapeutic. I wondered if it was better to get a much cheaper 'realistic' baby doll from another website but decided to go with one that is presumably aligned for people with dementia. The cost does seem very high given that it's made from the same materials as much cheaper dolls. And there are already such high costs involved when caring for people, that it would be great if it wasn't so pricey”

We're glad to hear that our customer's mum is happy with the doll but we are sorry to hear that our customer was unhappy with the price of the product. We do appreciate that the Therapy Doll can be more expensive than standard dolls that are available. We do always try to remain price competitive and are similarly priced or less expensive on many items compared to other retailers selling the same products. We are always adjusting our prices to ensure our customers receive the best prices available.

“This is the best money we have spent to support Mam in her journey with dementia. Her face lit up when she was first given the 'baby' to hold. She bonded with it immediately and chatters away to it, tries to feed it and gives it lots of kisses. The empathy doll itself is extremely well made, very realistic and we've certainly found it to be worth every penny in terms of the joy it's brought Mam. We only wish we'd known about them sooner!”

“Doll appears good quality still to determine how robust it is,and is as described .delivery was prompt.only niggle was an open seam on part of the clothing which was easily fixed”

“Had to wait for stocks to come back in of the empathy doll,I was kept fully up to date with when delivery was going to be.Arrived yesterday, packaged very well and really impressed with the doll ,how lifelike it feels.Took it to my mum's after work tonight, just placed it on the settee whilst she was going upstairs for a shower and she just took to it straight away ,amazing to see ,think she will get a lot of comfort from it and if it helps to take her mind of thinking her mum and dad are still alive that will be an added bonus.Definitely recommend .”

“We took a gamble with the doll as we really didn't know how Mum would react, however, Mum loves "her baby". It was worth the money just to see her face light up.”
