not cheap but does exactly what it promised to do and has brought some joy into the life of somebody with advanced dementia. It was pretty easy to set up but I’ve got a bit of help from AI and YouTube videos. Well done guys could you do something similar with a television?

I have purchased the Simple Music Player for my husband who has dementia. It's very easy to operate - it was recommended by a friend and I recommend it here.

Very easy to set up and use. Does what it says on the tin!

Lovely looking product. Easy controls for switching on and off and changing tracks. However, I'm disappointed about volume control being on the bottom of the box and only adjustable using pen/something sharp. Elderly user is not able to adjust themselves but absolutely needs to adjust volume appropriately for day/ night time listening at care home. Can't keep the same volume all the time.

Bought this for my sibling with Learning Disabilities and cerebral palsy. She hasnt tried it yet. My only concern is that as her motor control is limited she might be a bit heavy handed. So I will make a wooden L shaped bracket which will go up the back of the player and fit underneath it (with a slot to enable access to the connections on the back) to prevent her from heavy handed opening the flap too far and damaging it.

We bought this because my dad could no longer operate his CD player without breaking it, this is perfect, sturdy, simple operation, labelled clearly, no batteries, no buttons to fiddle with and after three months is still in tact and working, plays his favourite music, he loves it!!

This product is absolutely fantastic, it's opened a world of music up for my mum, it's so easy to turn on and off, I've put all her favourite ones on, I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who's living with Alzhimers and dementia.

Very easy to set up and use. Nice solid design. Storage capacity is not massive, but the option to use an SD card is a nice bonus. Only real complaint is that there's no random/shuffle or "next folder" mode; everything plays in the order in which it's added, which is not ideal with larger album collections, requiring the user to skip dozens of times to get to the next artist.
