We are sorry to hear our customer is unhappy with this product that they received in such a poor condition. This would appear to be a rare manufacturing fault with the product. We would be happy to provide a free return and replacement for this customer, along with our apologies, if they can contact our customer service team then we can start this process for them.
I have been searching for a simple to operate radio for my aged bedridden father who has a sharp mind but limited vision and who has managed to break every one I’ve bought. Most modern radios have small buttons and loads of extras that he just doesn’t need or understand so to find a radio with just ONE button is a godsend. I have set the channel to his favourite and he can now switch on and listen easily. It is sturdily built and looks and sounds great. Thank you Alzproducts!

As above the design is amazing, such simple ideas but fantastically effective. Suitable for old people. Alzheimer’s sufferers, partially sighted, blind people the list is endless. Even the RNIB website did not have anything available to help. Why not put it on the RNIB website that would be so helpful. Very good price, amazing value.

The one button radio arrived promptly and it is great for my Mother. Good design and she loves the look of it. The quality is good as is the tone of the radio and we are pleased with it. We don't leave the controls in the compartment in the back of the radio as we feel there is a risk of losing them as Mum likes to explore - we keep them safe!! Great product!!

The radio is quite big (though the description indicated this) but at least this means it is fairly steady on mum's overbed trolley (she is bed-bound). She is more or less blind, but doesn't seem to have any problems with finding the button on the top and switching it on and off. Now all we have to do is get her to remember when there are programmes on Radio 4 she is likely to be interested in. If you are considering this radio in an area with poorish FM reception you should note that the aerial is a length of wire which can be unfurled from a hole in the back of the radio. Presumably the idea would be to fix the aerial onto a nearby wall, but this is not so easy with a trolley that is regularly moved. However, luckily mum's nursing home in Birmingham gets much better Radio 4 reception than we do in Worcestershire (where I first tried it out) so it is fine without using the aerial.

I purchased this radio for my husband who is in residential care. It is perfect because it is set to his favorite station and now only requires him to use the on/off switch. His previous clock radio was never on the right station and the clock always flashing! It annoyed him but he found it very difficult to correct. Problem solved, thank you
