This is a good product for the elderly and is usable by a registered blind person. The instruction manual is incorrect about how to program the picture buttons. There is an addendum sheet included which I found later but even that has poorly written instructions. This text Left the handset on his base. Enter the telephone number you wish to store (up to 16 digits). If required, you can use the button to insert a pause should be replaced by *Leave* the handset on *its'* base. ....etc or Leave the handset on its cradle. .....etc
