“Bought this for my mum who has Dementia, she loves it, not only does she get comfort from cuddling him she loves listening to the music, this teddy has made my mum seem a lot more settled and seems to have stopped her wondering.”

“Such a beautiful bear, so soft and cuddly, quite adorable and I purchased it for my mother who has dementia. I had hoped to download recordings of her singing from CDs onto the bear but sadly this was not possible. The description of the bear does not make it clear that you can only download from MP3 files and nothing else. When the bear arrived and I realised this I contacted Customer Services to seek advice. One of the advisors, Jackie, provided an exemplary service in her efforts to assist me. Unfortunately for me things got too technically complicated and there was no easy way to resolve the issue and I had to reluctantly return the bear. Although I was given a refund for the price of the bear I had to cover the cost of postage both to receive then return the bear and as I was provided with a Returns label the cost was deducted from my refund. Hence four stars out of five as I feel my small financial loss could have been avoided with a clearer explanation about the details for downloading music.”

We're sorry to hear our customer felt the description of Arthur Bear was not clear. We do try to include as much information as possible on the product page, including a specification section. The MP3 audio format is included under the technical details. The majority of our customers get the Arthur Bear working without issue, however, for some customers/setups programming can take longer and we're happy to provide technical support via telephone or email.

“Brilliant product, so easy to use, the button on his paw is easy to press even for people with arthritis or weak hands, it's great that it turns off automatically after half an hour because you can listen to it to fall asleep to & not have to get up to turn it off (I put meditations on it) It's ideal for people with alzheimers. Putting the meditations in from my computer was easy (copy/pasting) and I highly recommend this product, anyone would be happy to receive it as a present.”

“I bought this for my elderly Aunt who has dementia and is blind. She loves it. I was concerned about one of the reviews which mentioned the quality of the music, but the quality is really good and the volume is just right too. It was a little bit of a faff to get the music uploaded but once I got the hang of it, it's easy. I would thoroughly recommend, very good value for money.”

“I bought the bear for my mother who has dementia. She thought he was a lovely looking bear and very soft. It was very easy to download the music onto the bear and my mother has engaged well with him.”
