“The dementia clock serves its purpose very well. It is well designed. I was disappointed with its appearance however. It looks cheaply made as though produced in China for £5. The cost is very high relative to the quality though the idea is a good one. £20 rather than £70 would be a better price. Perhaps even this is too high relative to production cost though I guess it is a limited market.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer is unhappy with the appearance of the clock. We do appreciate that the clock does have a basic functional plastic design and not a premium look. We are looking into the possibility of adding similar clocks to our range with better designs later this year. The relatively high price of this type of clock, in comparison to other digital clocks, is mainly due to the high-quality screen that is used and is also what makes the clock so visible. “I purchased a clock for my father as he could not differentiate between night and early hours of morning, so was sometimes getting up 3am, the clock allowed him to see which part of the day it was, clock is great but because my father is old school he doesnt like to leave things plugged in overnight, so if he wakes up he is plugging and unplugging clock which then wakes me up, this clock would be ideal for him (and me) if it could run on batteries, which it doesn't appear to have anywhere to insert batteries.”
