“The clock is very easy to set up. It came with the correct time set so only needs a couple of things plugged in. The alarms work as specified but I would like to see a couple of improvements: 1) if set, initial 'chime' is always 3 chimes and during this time the screen is blank. Why not have a configurable number, and show the configured image? 2) I can't predict when my mother will be in the same room as the clock, so I'd like to see a feature where I can set up a whole list of messages, and the clock works its way through the list repeatedly for a configured period (say, 3 hours in the morning), showing a message for a minute then the time for a minute, then on to the next message”

“We bought it to help Mom, her memory is sadly failing. The ability to set up multiple reminders, which we have personalized using key words and phrases that are familiar to her, together with setting up videos of Grandchildren giving Nan reminders is invaluable, Mom enjoys hearing the bing bong and looks forward to what it's going to say to her. I also think as a bonus Mom enjoys us all being with her during her day via her clock. :) This clock is giving me peace of mind and is definitely an important part of enabling Mom to stay in her home for longer. Set up: My Son set it up for us and he says it's easy. This clock is amazing!”

“Although I was quite pleased overall with the clock I was very disappointed with the quality of the remote control and the navigation around the settings on the clock. For the cost I though this should be much better and there might be more messages you could pick from the pre set ones. I havent tried to upload pictures or audio messages yet as this seems slightly complicated and I am sure it would not cost too much more for a microphone to be added to record your own messages and possibly an in built keyboard?? I would pay more for these facilities. For what the clock is it is slightly expensive.”

“So far I am very pleased with the clock. We are introducing it into my mothers life slowly so haven't tried all the functions yet but the clock face and all the different options for display are great and it is very easy for my mum to see it and understand. My brother is in charge of programming and we are going to use the medication reminder next. So far so good and we may buy another for the upstairs if mum responds well to using it. Whatever happens it won't be because there is anything wrong with the clock it will just be that it isn't the right product for my mum.”

“Product is grossly over priced and of poor quality. Some of the words are incorrectly spelt. Choice of reminders not comprehensive enough and pictures are not available for every reminder. Very inferior. Concept good but execution sadly lacking.”

We're sorry to hear that this customer is unhappy with certain aspects of the MemRabel. The MemRabel, like many of our clocks, has a plastic frame, which doesn't give the clock a premium look, however the quality remains high and faults are extremely rare with this product. The choice of default reminders is very high, for example, we've just released a similar reminder clock with only 17 default reminders. All of our reminder clocks have the feature of being able to create custom reminders and alarms, which can be useful when the default reminders are not sufficient. We're also not aware of any spelling mistakes but if any of our customers were to report any mistakes we would be happy to pass this information to the manufacturer so they could be rectified.
