“Had this for about 5 or 6 weeks now, takes a while to set up as expected and definitely needs at least 2 adults to mount the backboard. Bolts have shown no sign of rust despite plenty of rain since putting it up.
One thing to look out for is that water pools up in the base where the pole and supports attach, a s8mple solution is to simply drill a few drain holes through the plastic to allow water to drain away. This is especially important where the main pole attaches as water will sit there for days on end which will eventually rust the base of the pole!
Also the rebound board Velcro straps didn__ last long, they tore from the small screws, not too hard to fix though. One other thing, the warning sticker on the backboard is hellishly hard to remove cleanly, best done prior to mounting unless you__e happy leaving it there.
Apart from that the quality is great and compares well with systems twice the price.”
“I ordered this for Christmas 2016. The order was prompt and the quality of the product was excellent and I would recommend it. Given its weight i.e. 65kg, it is tricky to assemble but managed to work it out. Only challenges were the base leaking when filled with water so we ended up having to put sand into it which took a while. I have sprayed the bolts to stop them rusting (based on other reviews) but no concerns. Great product!”
“Awesome bball hoop! Took two of us 2.5 hours to assemble. Had to use a bit of common sense with some parts because of lack of instructions. But what a great hoop. Strong, sounds and feels good. And very easy to adjust the height. The best basketball system for the price that i could find in perth! And a tip : spay the bolts with rust proof spray. They arent galvanised and will probably corrode over time.”
