“Like all things IQAir, this is a well engineered filter which takes 1 minute to mount and, with a metal mesh design, stops large particles from clogging the pre- filter. It doesn’t significantly restrict airflow and it is easy to clean (a vacuuming is all that is needed) compared to the old kit. In theory it should increase the pre filter life but, as the machine can not detect the installed kit, the overall life expectancy of the filters, which is calculated based on the total number of hours in use and the fan speed, is unchanged. For this reason it is not a full five star but rather a 4.5 star rating. Recommended”
