“This dress has taken me by surprise. I bought it in the sale for the gorgeous colour to brighten our winter but was not too sure about the shape as I usually prefer an empire line. The fabric was heavier than anticipated so the fit and hang were far more flattering than I had imagined. It clings gently at the bust and waist, then flares over the hips and has a very glamourous swish to the skirt when walking. Its incredibly flattering and is sexy in an elegant and understated way. I find myself reaching for it on those 'what shall I wear' indecisive days and I've worn it far more than I ever imagined. It's incredibly comfortable and washes brilliantly without needing ironing. I always get compliments when I wear it. A very simple little dress with a big impact which I am so glad I took a risk on!”
