“These have been my go-to trainers for years now, they are well suited to my foot profile. The only reason they get a star dropped is because they changed the laces a few years ago, and the price has gone up each year. so I am guessing that Brooks now get more profit from producing these, as the laces are rubbish compared to the previous ones. The original laces had a stripe through the middle of them which meant that you only needed a single bow to tie them up and they NEVER came undone whatever punishment they endured. These new laces dont stay tied up. I am lucky, I have saved the old laces and I use them everytime I buy a new pair!!!”
