“I had ordered a couple of pair of boots and were very very happy with them, fit true to size and look great.
Last month I ordered a pair of sandals and was so happy when they arrived. However after only wearing a couple of times the strap completely broke. I was gutted and so disappointed, this happened whilst at work and was quite embarrassing.
I contacted customer services who sent me a postage link to return the sandals. I advised I wanted a replacement as they were ordered for my upcoming holiday. CS advised to put a note in with the returned sandals explaining what the issue was and also stating I wanted a replacement pair, I did this and sent the sandals back.
I emailed CS with the proof of postage receipt and again asked if a replacement could be sent out asap as I really wanted these to go away with. 3 days later I had an email advising that my refund had been processed. Again I was very disappointed as I had stated numerous times I wanted a replacement! I contacted CS again and advised what had happened, to which they replied asking if I had included a note with the return sandals which I had.
After expressing my disappointment and the fact I found CS unsatisfactory as no resolution was offered I was told I needed to re order the sandals as a refund had been given. I asked if there was a discount code I could have as when I initially ordered the sandals there was a 10% off code to which they replied no.
So I am expected to reorder sandals and pay more than what I did originally, because they were faulty and CS couldn’t action my request correctly for a replacement pair.
Due to the issues and constant poor customer service I will not be ordering again which is a real shame as I have been recommending AJ Voyage to all my friends since having the boots but I will now be telling them of all my problems I had recently.
I really feel your CS department needs looking at and perhaps additional training needs to be given when dealing with complaints.
