The colour is akin to an off-white. It is highly resistant to deformation over time, so parts manufactured with it will look as new for many years to come, so long as they are cared for properly. Because it is reinforced with glass for stiffness and stability, Rigid 4000 Resin is more brittle than Formlabs’ Tough and Durable resins. This makes parts more susceptible to damage if mishandled. However, Rigid 4000 Resin is still extremely impact and heat resistant, making it a very useful material for manufacturing stiff, precise parts. Formlabs Rigid 4000 Resin is supplied as a 1L cartridge for use with the Form 2 and Form 3 3D printers. Rigid Resin is capable of printing in 100 and 50 micron layer resolution.
