This Formlabs White Resin Cartridge is made for the Form 2 3D printer. To use with the Form 1+, pour out the resin from the cartridge into the tank. Formlabs’ white resin for the Form 2 offers beautiful, pure prints that are strikingly detailed and incredibly smooth. White resin is most commonly used to print parts that will be painted or treated at a later stage, because it offers the ideal base, however this resin is also perfect for printing unpainted parts and presentation pieces, due to the purity of the final colour - printed parts are opaque white and they look magnificent. White resin supports print resolutions of 50 – 100 microns, so it’s ideal for small objects, but it isn’t the best choice for intricate and fine parts. For that, you’ll want black resin. But the white resin holds its own compared to other 50 micron resins in the Formlabs range when it comes to detail and finish. For instance, it’s on-par with the clear resin. White resin cartridges for the Form 2 are available in 1L sizes only and they are compatible with the Form 2’s Chip ID System.
