“This year I have found my reeds more affected by temperature, environment etc. while also being frustrated with the consistency of Van Doren and D’Addario natural reeds. I therefore decided to invest in this synthetic offering. The feel of the this reed takes a little getting used to and i feel it is a little less responsive in the higher register. Sound wise I feel a natural reed has a marginally warmer sound but this reed is still pretty good and better than I had expected. I need more time to get used to playing on this reed and to decide whether to continue with synthetic and that reflects my 3 star rating. First impressions are that this reed has potential.”
