“Violists aren't well served by good collections like this. It is a splendid coillection, combining perennial favourites from Grieg, Faure, and Dvcrak with pieces I'v never heard of it. Hands up all those who have come across Kalliwoda. No. Well he is set for Grade 6. And his Nocturnes are gorgeous. Dancey, folksy, delightful. I am pushing the boat out on Grade 6 repertoire and looking very much forward to this. (I' m only 78) . The album deserves special mention for its productio standards which are exceptional: bold clear sharp printing on generously sized thick creamy paper. Thank you Barenreiters”
