“A valuable aid to learning this well loved piece for flute and piano but could have been so much better. Michael Cox plays the piece with accompaniment then with accompaniment by Huw Watkins only. Why then did Chester Music miss this valuable opportunity and not provide an additional slower tempo accompaniment, at least for the final Presto Giocoso movement? To learn a piece we must first get all the notes rights before we move to performance speed. Loses a star for being shortsighted in this regard.”
