“I used to buy Vandoren reeds, but over the years have tried several brands. Think Vandoren still have the edge on many. However, I do not like the plastic protective case they are in. It is so easy to damage the Reed getting them in and out of said case. It's a bad design. Didn't used to have this set up. After Sheering the corner off two reeds, I now use a cardboard sleeve from another brand. The reeds are fine now. Have not damaged any since.”
