“Only working on the second romance which is beautiful. Maybe it’s just me, but I find the parts with three staves more difficult to read. I understand that it was written that way to clearly show the melody. I think I’ve located a Schirmer copy which is edited by Harold Bauer who keeps the whole piece on the usual two staves. If it arrives, I’m hoping it will help.”
