“Having lived with the Augener edition for many years, I came to doubt the authenticity of some of the included works and found Eaglefield-Hull's "corrections and enhancements" frustrating and at times eccentric. The Bahrenreiter edition is totally authentic and the layout of the scores is much clearer and more natural to play.”
