“Like all single pieces, this is an expensive purchase but like all Barenreiter's publications, it is very high quality. The printing is very clear on non-glare paper. This is an urtext edition of a piece that I previously only played from an edited version and it makes much more sense. The introduction is informative and the research notes appear to be exhaustive. You can make choices from the research as to how you play particular passages. The division of notes between hands makes sense although you may want to make your own decisions on some of the note assignments. All in all, a worthwhile purchase of this new edition.”
