“A lovely book with a good collection of Christmas songs, carols and other music. Unfortunately the book does not sit easily on a music stand, ideally it should be made from a softer material which stays open more easily. The songs are fun to play for an experienced pianist, although not all the harmonies work well. I would have found it more versatile if lyrics were included.”

“The music itself is fine, including some original re-arrangements of familiar Christmas pieces. But the book needs to be spiral bound. It is impossible to lay the music flat and actually play the pieces. This is very frustrating. (This is the fault of Faber, not of the supplier who sold the book.)”

“A very good selection of pieces. On a more general point about such compilations, I do wish that more sheet music came in a “ring binder form” as some do, so that you could open up at a piece and it stayed open! I suppose that over time, lots of bending back will weaken the book spine and achieve this.”

“Good arrangements - not too difficult - and printed on good quality paper. In worried about folding the binding flat on a music stand though. Ackerman service was impeccable.”
