“These are excellent. Fabric against the skin is not abrasive, only tough where it needs to be. The trousers fit round the waist so cargo in the pockets is supported by the hips (OK, I'm a female and achieved this by putting a couple of tucks in the wasitband!). Biggest plus is the top-loading of the knee-pad pockets. I use these trousers for gardening which involves walking and what a joy - I don't have to re-trace my steps all the time to collect the Knee-pads which were always falling out of bottom-loading pockets.”
