“The bobbin case appears to me to be a rather fragile part of the whole machine. It can easily be damaged and render the machine unusable. I have been using various makes of sewing machine since I was a child (my mother, grandmother and other relations were professiional tailors) and the bobbin holders have always been robust. As this machine is of Japanese design I am surprised that the bobbin holder has this weakness.”
