I have had a very good service from the sewing studio and I will buy from them again. My machine is lovely to use it took a while to get used to it but it is very good and I love it. I think it’s the best sewing machine I have purchased.the staff on the phone was very helpful and I would love to thank them for helping me. So yes I will very much like to recommend them.

This is a lovely machine and has all the required elements that you want to either do free motion sewing, embroidery or just straight sewing. I love the different modes that enable you to choose different sewing stitches. It's easy to use. Plus if you do have any problems the customer service team are excellent.

I am thrilled with my janome 5270qdc. As a professional textile artist I have used every brand of sewing machine available . Some very expensive. But only one has stood the test of time and is still going strong. That is the cheapest machine I have ever bought. A janome 2200xt. It cost £99, 12years ago. It is a real workhorse. So when 2 of my very expensive famous brand sewing machines broke down at the same time and repairing them was too expensive, there was only one brand that I wanted to buy again. Yes Janome. Well since I have had it i have given it an extensive workout. It is wonderful. My multi layered fabric collages (backed with wadding and cotton) are no challenge at all to my janome. Perfect stitching. A real pleasure to use And also very quiet. I love it Thank also to the Sewing Studio. Super fast service and even though I can't see it it's definitely "service with a smile".

Just started to use it as my 'prize' for completing tidying up etc of my sewing room! Machine is absolutely goegeous and perfect, after not having used one for over 15 years. It took many goes to wind bobbin and thread machine, but I've got there. Now, where do I start!!!

Great service from sewing studio team offering advice and clarifications on suitability of the sewing machines I had in mind. Went with the 5270QDC & I'm not disappointed. My 40 year old Toyota is a very solid and heavy machine, great for bags and heavy duty. My new janome can still do bags but it has much more flexibility in stitches, particularly length and width and I cannot believe the difference a knee lift makes ( really hadn't considered it important!). Lovely on lightweight & stretch dress fabrics. Only negative, I wish I'd have bought the janome bag for carrying and storage on offer. The hard cover that comes with the 5270QDC is really good but the handle comes through the case leaving a big gap and a lot of dust gets onto the machine through it ( I need to choose a less dusty environment for storage!).

I am a total beginner to sewing with a machine but I find this machine easy to use. I am slowly going through and practicing all the stitches that are available. Very easy to use. I am hoping to get to be an expert in a few weeks after having sewing lessons
