“This sewing machine is a dream! After using second-hand or borrowed machines for the first 5 years of my sewing journey, I was finally ready to commit to my first brand-new machine. I was looking for a machine suitable for my current sewing level (beginner-intermediate), yet one with enough options to support and encourage my growth over a longer time. The Brother Innov-is A50 is a very reliable machine, sews effortlessly over multiple layers of thick fabric, and has a great range of stitches (utility and decorative)! I also loved the in-depth manual, which covers not only the technical aspects of the machine, but also basic sewing skills (like sewing smooth stitches, adding buttonholes, invisible hems etc). Just finished my first project (a corduroy vest): no skipped stitches, no jammed fabric, and no thread snapping due to tension issues. I couldn't even imagine being so happy with a sewing machine, this was one of the best purchases I ever made.”

“This machine is perfect for what I wanted, and the added bonus of the quilting kit was the icing on the cake. The information on the website on how to choose your new machine, and the demonstration videos, were really superb and gave me full confidence I had chosen well. Three best feature of all in my view is the automatic needle threader! At the age of 72, the machine I had had for my 21st birthday had finally given up the ghost, so I was cautious about what to replace it with, but this Brother machine is just the job, and will tackle all the things I might need in dressmaking, quilting, and even embroidery although I haven't tried that yet!”
